We offer exclusively Category I organic saffron in Sargol in Negin quality with excellent peak values for the three decisive ingredients crocin, safranal and picrocrocin.

According to ISO 3632-2:2010 saffron is divided into four quality categories depending on the crocin content (collourant of the saffron).

In addition to the crocin content the flavouring agent safranal and the bittern picrocrocin can be determined in a photometric test.



Every single tranche is tested and certified for the decisive ingredients by an independent institute, the Eurofins GmbH in Hamburg.
